Handmade Dresser.

This one was a fun piece to refinish...although it took quite some time! Loving the cute knobs that I found!

Window Table

This was by far the hardest piece to say goodbye to! I loved this piece the first go 'round when I had the top painted black. However, a friend bought this piece and the chest that I had at the Bethania Flea. She asked if I could paint the top to blend in more with the chest. I had no idea how (even more!) amazing that would turn out! Here she is! My husband was pulling away with her in the car, to deliver her after her upgrade...and I yelled "I love you". He asked whether I was talking to him or the table? Haha! That about sums up my feelings for her! Adore and enjoy her, Erica & Chris!!!

This sewing table was so hard to let go! It sold the first day in the shop!

Isn't it adorable?!

Shabby Chair

I have been loving the shabby style lately. I'm not exactly sure why. I do not decorate in this style, but I sure do love to refinish furniture to sell, in this style.

I had this fabric laying around for quite some time, and it was time to put it to use!
I think that it went perfectly with this blue!

Baby Steps!

This is a unique piece that I found that was begging to be refinished. There was a lady in the store at the time, that was eyeballing me, waiting on me to pass it up so that she could pounce on it.
I snatched it up and stuffed it into the car! It was coming home!

This was my first piece of furniture to have EVER refinished. Most of my recent purchases have been smaller items, or non furniture items.

I decided to go basic with a nice white-ish color, and then distress it. A friend of mine had told me about MMS Milk Paint, and so I tried it. At first, I didn't quite get the measurements correct and it was too watery. After three coats, I figured it out...and it was quite perfect. I had a lot of the natural chipping, which was awesome! I had studied MMS tutorials, so I was prepared and scraped away just as she specified.

I was very pleased with how it turned out.
...and now, I'm addicted...and in love with MMS Milk Paint.

It was the perfect nightstand/bookcase for my daughter. She loves it!
